    General Questions
  1. What do I do to participate in Get Fit Frisco!?     (return to top)

    Click the "Registration" link on the menu bar.
    Then, read and follow the steps outlined on that page.
  2. I registered, received my email, "Receipt for your Payment to Frisco Education Foundation," and logged back into my account. Now what do I do?     (return to top)

    Once you have logged into your account, your first step is to click the "Add Participants" link on the left side of the page. The box in the top left will indicate how many registrations were paid for and the type of each registration. At the bottom of the page, you will see the your Name and login name, with a blank Participant Type field.

    Click the to modify your own participant data. This needs to be done before you can set anyone else up to use the Get Fit Frisco! website.

    Update your own data. Don't forget to choose your participant type and tell us your age. Both are required fields as indicated with ** next to the field name. Some fields will already be filled out for you. Don't forget to "check" the boxes so a team captain can communicate with you.

    At the bottom of the form, click the button. You will return to the "Add Participant" page. You will now see a "1" in the "Total You have Added" column.

  3. I added myself and updated my profile, now how do I add the other adults to which I have paid their registrations?     (return to top)

    Once you have logged into your account and set up your own profile, you can set up the profiles of all other people you registered. Click the "Add Participants" link on the left side of the page. The box in the top left will indicate how many registrations were paid for and the type of each registration. At the bottom of the page, at a minimum, you will see your Name, login name, and participant type.

    Click the to add a profile for a new participant you registered.

    If the User id and password are identical to your own, only you will have access to the person's Get Fit Frisco! data. If you want each participant to have their own Get Fit Frisco! account, give each person a unique User ID and password.

    IMPORTANT - After the Age field is a checkbox. Click this checkbox if you are the parent/guardian of the person for which you are creating this profile.

    Update the person's data. Don't forget to choose the participant type and tell us the child's age. Both are required fields as indicated with ** next to the field name. Some fields will already be filled out for you. If the child plans on being on a team, don't forget to "check" the boxes so a team captain can communicate with them in their preferred method. If as a parent, you want all the email communications, put your own email in the Email Address field. If not, your child's email address should be typed in the field.

    For all children, please indicate the name of the school they attend.

    At the bottom of the form, click the button. You will return to the "Add Participant" page. You will now see a "1" (or the next incremental number) in the "Total You have Added" column.

  5. The Inaugural Get Fit Frisco! Event runs from Saturday, February 11th through midnight on Friday, April 21st. All points must be logged by 5pm on April 25th.

    As far as logging activities pre-FEB 11 - the kick-off date:
    - We want to encourage use of the website, so we are allowing for logging of points now.
    - At 11:59pm on Feb. 10th, all points will be wiped from the system so everyone starts at the same place for the 10-week duration of the Inaugural Get Fit Frisco!

    Creating a Team     (return to top)
  1. If you registered as a "Team Captain," you can create a Get Fit Frisco! Team.
  2. Team captains can pick you for the team. Individuals cannot place themselves on a team, however, then can remove themselves from a team.
    Participating as a Captain     (return to top)
  1. On the Get Fit Frisco! site, the Team Captain creates the team and selects team members. Off the site is where the real "captaining" happens.
  2. Yes. Email getfitfrisco@frisco-online.com to request a change in your registration from a Captain to Participant. Please allow up to 24 hours for the change to take effect.
    Participating as a Team Member    (return to top)
  1. A team captain must select you for their team. You can place yourself on a team.
  2. After logging into your account, you can remove yourself from the team.
  3. Absolutely! Get Fit Frisco! is made up of both individuals and teams. Everyone has one common goal: Fitness!
  4. After logging into your account, you must remove yourself from the team you want to leave. Then, the team captain from your new tam can add you to that team.
  5. Yes. Email getfitfrisco@frisco-online.com to request a change in your registration from a Participant to Captain. Please allow up to 24 hours for the change to take effect.

  1. Click the "Registration" link on the menu bar.

    Participating as a Parent     (return to top)
  1. That's your call. We realize this is a website and it is your parental right to govern whether your child may access it. If you do not give your child access to the logon and password, then you must log your child's points.
  2. Yes.
  3. Email getfitfrisco@frisco-online.com with your child's name, your name, your email address, and your daytime phone number. Before we close the account, we will confirm via email and/or telephone with you your exact wishes. We honor all confirmed parental requests.
